2017 PERC Annual Scientific Meeting

PERC 2017 – Fairmont Banff Springs

January 29 – February 2, 2017

The PERC 2017 Annual Scientific Meeting was held at the Fairmont Banff Springs in Banff, Alberta. The Fellows Education Day was held on the Sunday prior to the research presentations – this day was a great success with distinguished guest speakers Drs. Antonia Stang, Anthony Crocco, Angelo Mikrogianakis and a team from MD Management Services. This year we continued with the PEM Panel discussion at the end of the day, four directors from across Canada participated in this dynamic panel discussion. Dr. Virginia Moyer from Baylor College of Medicine presented her talk “How do we make quality more academic and a part of the scholarly process?”. TREKK held a network meeting and presented to the entire group about their many successes over the past 6 years and what is planned for the future. The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons also held there subspecialty meeting while at PERC.
