2008 PERC Annual Scientific Meeting

The PERC 2008 Annual Scientific Meeting was held at the Fairmont Mont Tremblant in Quebec. Pediatric emergency researchers, trainees, and fellows attended from across Canada representing all 15 of the PERC sites. Dr. Baruch Krauss from Boston Children’s Hospital presented to the fellows about cross-border experiences and recruiting in the U.S. Dr. Ian Stiell was the invited guest speaker for the staff research day where he presented on his experiences with creating and implementing decision rules. Drs. Amy Plint (CanBEST) and Lawrence Richer (ED Migraine) both received congratulations for completing their respective research projects.
